Greg Wood

As someone who thrives on interacting with people, Greg P. Wood couldn’t have made a better career choice. Greg, who launched his current practice in 2001, still gets excited when he reflects on the professional path he has taken. “I love my work so much, I chose this career not once, but twice!” he laughs.

After graduating from Oklahoma State with a degree in business, Greg started out as a stockbroker, and then took a detour in medical sales for a few years while he established his family. A chance encounter with a college acquaintance introduced him to the need to prepare for his own financial future. Before long, he was being recruited back into the financial services business.

“I re-entered this business at a perfect time,” says Greg. “Many of my peers had developing careers, they were starting businesses, or had growing families. All of these are opportunities for us as financial services professionals to provide real value to clients.” More importantly, it gave Greg the chance to do what he enjoys most: to engage with people in a very meaningful and personal way.

Today, Greg’s practice focuses almost exclusively on risk management. He specializes in estate planning, business planning, and executive compensation plans. As a partner of the Catalyst Group, he takes pride in the firm’s capacity to service clients’ end-to-end needs – from investments to protection strategies, including health insurance. “Our team approach serves our clients well, and helps to ensures that we direct the right talent to address specific areas of need,” he says.

Outside of work, Greg is an avid golfer and personal fitness enthusiast. He and his wife, Julie, are parents to three children. They reside in Tulsa, and are active members of Life Church.

Bradley Nelligan

As a native of Tulsa, Oklahoma and a Jenks Trojan lifer, Bradley M. Nelligan is honored to serve the community and people he has always called home. After graduating from high school, Bradley began his journey at Oklahoma State University with goals of becoming a sports psychologist. He graduated with a psychology degree and then quickly completed the psychology master’s program, eager to begin applying his studies in the real world. However, during his time interning for the program, he began to question whether this was how he was meant to help people in the long run. Bradley watched client after client stress about their financial situations and looking back it seems like it was meant to be that he would receive a call from an old golfing buddy, telling him about an opportunity. He soon realized that the path he was looking for may have just fallen in his lap and he quickly jumped into the financial services industry.

Bradley has been a dedicated financial services professional since 2012. He specializes in protecting his client’s portfolios from risk and helping them plan for their financial futures. He focuses exclusively on business, medical and estate planning markets to ensure his clients’ futures, as well as their generations to come.

When he isn’t helping his clients manage their finances, you’ll find him spending time with his wife, Annie, and their two kids, Rowland and Brooks. Bradley is an avid golfer and enjoys coaching his son’s football and baseball teams.

Aaron Curry

Aaron Curry is a successful and highly respected advisor to high-achieving business owners, executives, political and business influencers. He and his business partners specialize in helping clients grow, diversify and protect their income.

At the age of 50, Aaron is married, with 2 children and in his free time, he is an educator for the Establishment, a financial education initiative, and an Advisory Board member of MassMutual Oklahoma. Aaron also volunteers as President of The Care Center, a child advocacy non-profit, leads a men’s group, travels with his wife Jolene, enjoys a healthy lifestyle with diverse workouts, weights, cardio, yoga, hikes, bikes, golfs and enjoys spending time with family and friends and his church.

Curtis Smith

Ironically, a house fire was the catalyst for Curtis’ introduction to the financial services business. Curtis and his wife lost everything they owned when their Kansas home burned to the ground. Focused on what was important in their lives, they decided to move back to Tulsa to be closer to family and friends. They met with a financial advisor to safeguard their insurance proceeds while they determined their next steps. This individual would eventually recruit Curtis to work with him.

“The career appealed to me because it would allow me to help people and make a difference in their lives, as our financial advisor had in ours,” says Curtis about the initial attraction to his line of work. Today, Curtis’ practice serves the total needs of his clients – from wealth accumulation to protection strategies. Many of Curtis’ clients are professionals or business owners seeking to focus their financial planning as they approach retirement. “It’s incredibly rewarding to see the results of my work with clients come to fruition,” he beams, referring to clients whom he has helped guide to successful retirement. Curtis strives to be accessible to his clients and prides himself on the fact that many of his client relationships have grown into friendships over the years. “I live by doing the right thing for my clients: their overall financial wellbeing is my priority,” he adds.

Outside of work, Curtis can be found cheering on the Cowboys at Oklahoma State football games or boating and relaxing on Grand Lake. Curtis and his wife, Lynne, reside in Tulsa. They are members of Asbury United Methodist Church. They have three children and 2 grandchildren.

Del Dreyer

What many people expect from their financial advisor is common sense. They get a healthy dose of it when they meet Del Dreyer. Del credits his parents with instilling him with solid values. “My dad didn’t believe in debt (or a lot of it), and so we taught ourselves to be satisfied with what we could afford,” he says.

He also admits inheriting his love of numbers from his father. That made choosing a career pretty easy. Originally from Indiana, Del studied accounting at the International College in Fort Wayne and began his career as a corporate accountant in Chicago, before he decided to apply his accounting background to the financial services business.

The transition to working with clients on their personal finances was an easy one. Del joined a national financial services firm and started learning the trade. In 1980 he moved to Tulsa and opened the private practice that continues to thrive to this day. Del specializes in corporate retirement plans, retirement income planning, and estate planning. Succession planning for multi-‐generational businesses constitutes a large portion of his work with business owners of privately held enterprises. “I particularly enjoy helping people grow and maintain their assets and provide protection for the unexpected,” he says.

Outside of work, Del follows all kinds of sports – whether as a spectator, or as a participant. He plays golf, tennis and basketball. He served as the President of the Rotary Club of Tulsa in 2009-2010, and continues to be an active Rotarian. Del is very involved with Christ the Redeemer Lutheran Church, where he has served as President three times over the past twenty years. He has also served on the Board of the Tulsa Estate Planning Forum and as President of the Tulsa Chapter of the Society of Financial Service Professionals. He and his wife, Jan, reside in Tulsa. They have three adult daughters and eight grandchildren.

Jenny Paschal

Practice and Client Service Manager

Jenny joined Catalyst Financial Group in 2011 and serves as Practice Manager with 18 years of industry experience. From case preperation to coordinating with underwriting, Jenny provides start to finish client service and satisfaction. Born and raised in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Jenny shares 2 beautiful daughters with her husband of 24 years.

In her spare time Jenny enjoys volunteering at her Church, spending time with family and friends and attending sporting events.

Haley Pavao

As someone who has consistently delivered superior customer service over her career, Haley feels Customer Service is a dying art. Haley feels she is here to make every client she’s in contact with feel supported, cared for, and loved on. What motivates Haley is her faith and her family.

She is married to Mike who supervises the financial and data stability of The American Cancer Society. They have 2 daughters, Brittany and Hanna, their son, Ashton, and 2 grandson’s. They love volunteering as a family whether it is through their church home, or some type of community outreach. When Haley is not spending time with family, you’ll find her at the ice rink watching her son play hockey, or in her craft room creating handmade cards, jewelry, t-shirts, and more.

Brandie joined Catalyst Financial Group in 2023, assuming the role of Client Services Associate. Her extensive background in customer service is complemented by her intuition and commitment to efficiency. These qualities ensure each Advisor’s client receives the personalized support and attention required to navigate their financial journey with confidence and success.

As an Army kid who moved frequently, Brandie established her roots in Oklahoma in 2001 and has called Tulsa her home since 2006. Brandie places significant importance on community service activities that benefit women and children. She is also a Tulsa Master Gardener volunteer. She relishes being the cool aunt within her family and her chosen extended community. In her spare time, Brandie enjoys hiking in nature with her partner of 18 years, TC, a good strategy board game, and good food and wine with stimulating conversation among friends and family.
